RICHMOND, Ky. – The Cleveland State women's golf program is set for action as the Vikings head south for Eastern Kentucky's Colonel Classic that takes place this Monday, April 4 and Tuesday, April 5 at the University Club at Arlington.

The two-day, 54-hole event begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 AM ET on Monday. The 13 teams in the tournament will play two rounds on the opening day of the event before concluding with the final round on Tuesday at 9 AM.

The University Club course plays to a par of 72 over 5,910 yards.

Competing teams in the 28th annual Colonel Classic include: Akron, Ball State, Bellarmine, Belmont, Butler, Cincinnati, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Georgia State, Marshall, North Alabama and Northern Illinois.

The last tourney CSU played in was one that went down in the record books as the Vikings collected their first victory in over four years with a title at the Nevel Meade Collegiate. It was the first tournament win for the Vikes since the group captured the Horizon League Championships back on April 25, 2017.

There the Vikings were paced by Madison Butler (third overall), Meg Rossouw (fourth) and Sabrina Coffman (tied for eighth).

Viking fans and supporters will be able to follow along with the live results of the Colonel Classic here.
