Cleveland State Women's Golf in Sixth Place After First Round of Golden Grizzlies Invitational

ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Cleveland State women's golf team completed day one of the Golden Grizzlies Invitational on Sunday, finishing the opening round in sixth place. The Green and White will finish the two-day, 36-hole, tournament on Monday morning.

Three Vikings finished the first day in the top 15: Sabrina Coffman (T4), Madison Butler (T6) and Alex Jakins (Individual, T12). 

Coffman shot 73 on the day, while Butler followed shooting 74. Meg Rossouw (T28) recorded 80 on the opening day, whil Lexi Knight (T36) was three strokes behind Rossouw and Olivia Swain (T45) sat three strokes behind Knight.

Competition continues on Monday with a shotgun start beginning at 9 a.m.
