Ruminski Signs with Cleveland State

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State Women's Golf Head Coach Taylor Riggs has announced the signing of Amanda Ruminski to the team's 2021-22 roster.

"We're very excited about adding Amanda to our program," said Riggs. "Amanda has had a great junior golf career and is one of the top players in the state of Ohio in her class. She's a player who utilizes her length within her golf game and I look forward to her arrival at Cleveland State in the fall and coaching her as a Viking!"

Ruminski, a senior at Lexington High School, is a four-year state qualifier. The Berea, Ohio, native has notched Top 10 finishes in the OHSAA state championship in each of the last three years (2018, 2019, 2020) and has been named a three-time Ohio All-State golfer.

Throughout her high school career, Ruminski has recorded 22 high school tournament victories, including nabbing the conference, sectional and district championship.

Ruminski's father, Brad, is a PGA pro and the current general manager at Shelby Country Club. Over the course of his career, the 33-year golf veteran has played in over 600 events and established the Ruminski Golf Academy.
