DAYTON, Ohio -- Junior Madison Butler carded a final-round 77 and finished tied for 11th overall leading the Cleveland State women's golf team on the final day of the Dayton Flyer Invitational on Tuesday on the NCR Country Club North Course.
Butler posted a 77 on the final day of competition, which was the Vikings low round of the day. Paired with her opening-round 75, Butler finished tied for 11th overall in the standings. Her final round included one birdie and 10 par's.
Rayna Oosterhuis also posted a top-15 finish for Cleveland State as she added a 79 to her opening-round 74 to finish tied for 13th overall with a 36-hole score of 153.
Led by Butler and Oosterhuis, Cleveland State finished sixth in the 14-team field. The Vikings shot a 318 on day two and finished with a total of 623 for the tournament. Butler captured the team title with a score of 605, while Findlay and Dayton tied for second with a team total of 608.
Ashley Knight had the Vikings second lowest round of the day with a 78 and finished tied for 22nd overall with a total of 155.
Grace Zimmerman shot an 84 and posted a score of 163 to tie for 51st overall, while Lexi Knight closed with an 85 and was tied for 57th overall with a score of 165.
