Moore Named #HLWBB Player Of The Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After helping Cleveland State to pair of wins last week, senior Brittni Moore has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week. This marks the first weekly honor for Moore, and the third straight week that the Vikings have claimed Player of the Week accolades.

Last time out, Moore and the Vikings picked up an 86-55 victory at Central Michigan before posting a 76-58 win at Akron. The two wins extended Cleveland State's current win streak, as the Vikings have now won nine straight games and stand at 9-1 on the year.

Moore averaged 21.0 ppg on a .515 field goal clip last week, including a career-high 26-point performance on 10-for-15 from the field against Central Michigan. She followed that up with a 16-point effort against Akron, and also combined for 10 rebounds, six steals, three assists, and two blocked shots on the week.

Through the first 10 games, Moore has recorded double-digit points seven times, and is averaging 12.8 points per game on a .439 field goal percentage, while leading the team with 60 total rebounds.
