CLEVELAND, Ohio – After leading Cleveland State to its second straight Women's Basketball Invitational championship game appearance last weekend, women's basketball sophomore Destiny Leo has been named to the 2022 WBI All-Tournament Team.

This marks the second WBI All-Tournament accolade for Leo, as she also earned a spot on the team as a freshman last year.

For the weekend, Leo averaged 25.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists, while averaging 34.7 minutes played through the three games. Leo notched a .446 clip from the floor on the weekend, while converting 14 three-pointers and shooting 37-percent from behind-the-arc.

In the first round game against Northeastern, Leo posted 23 points and two steals, marking her 11th 20-point game of the season. She followed that up with 19 points and four rebounds in the semifinal win over Nevada, leading the Viking offense in both games.

To close out the weekend, Leo notched a career-high 35 points against Saint Mary's in the championship game, marking her third 30-point game of the season. Against the Gaels, Leo notched five three-pointers, marking her fifth game with five or more three-pointers this season.

Leo finished the year averaging a team-best 18.7 points per game, while shooting 43-percent from the floor, 39-percent from three-point range and 90-percent from the free throw line. Leo's .906 clip from the free throw line set a CSU Single-Season record, while she finished tied for 10th in the CSU Single-Season record book with 542 total points on the year.
