LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Cleveland State women's basketball team earned its second straight trip to the WBI Championship Saturday, picking up a 58-50 victory over Nevada in the semifinals. With the win, the Vikings improve to 23-8 overall this season.

· Destiny Leo led the Viking offense with 19 points, while Brittni Moore added 14 points, and Gabriella Smith tallied eight.
· Brittni Moore grabbed a team-high eight rebounds, while Nadia Dumas recorded seven boards.

The Game
After taking a 33-27 lead into the halftime break, the Viking offense went cold over the opening minutes of the third quarter, until a Destiny Leo three-pointer regained a four-point lead for Cleveland State at 36-32 with just over seven minutes left in the frame.
The two teams then traded baskets over the next few possessions, before an 8-0 run from Nevada gave the Wolfpack a two-point lead with 2:07 left on the clock. Although the Viking offense once again went cold over the final minutes of the frame, a Leo jumper with just 10 seconds left on the clock knotted the score at 40-40 heading into the final quarter.
The two teams once again traded baskets over the opening minutes of the frame, until a Nadia Dumas free throw and a Brittni Moore layup gave the Vikings a 48-45 advantage – a lead that they would go on to hold for the rest of the contest.
A late 8-0 run from the Vikings extended Cleveland State's lead to nine-points at the 56-47 mark – as the Vikings got points from Leo, Dumas and Gabriella Smith during this stretch. Although Nevada responded with a three-pointer quickly after this run, the Vikings were able to hold on to the advantage, and clinched the 58-50 victory with a pair of Moore free throws over the final seconds of the contest.
