Cleveland State Women’s Basketball Set To Face Green Bay In #HLWBB Semifinals

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Following Thursday's 59-51 Keeps Horizon League Basketball Championship quarterfinal victory over Northern Kentucky, the No. 4 seed Cleveland State women's basketball team is set to take on No. 3 seed Green Bay in a semifinal contest on Monday, March 7.  

#HLWBB BRACKET | TOURNAMENT CENTRAL 

Monday's semifinal contest is slated for a 2:30 p.m. start inside the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Ind. 

This marks the third straight season that the Vikings are making an appearance in the #HLWBB semifinals, and the ninth time in program history. Following Thursday's quarterfinal win, the Vikings are now 5-3 in Horizon League Tournament play under head coach Chris Kielsmeier, and own a perfect 3-0 #HLWBB tournament record when playing at home during this stretch. 

The winner of Monday's semifinal contest will advance to the Keeps Horizon League Basketball Championship game on Tuesday, March 8, and will face the winner of the No. 1 IUPUI/No. 7 Oakland semifinal.
