CLEVELAND, Ohio – After closing out the 2021-22 regular season earlier today, the Cleveland State women's basketball team has earned the No. 4 seed in the upcoming 2022 Keeps Horizon League Basketball Championship. 

2022 HORIZON LEAGUE TOURNAMENT BRACKET

The fourth-seeded Vikings will open tournament play with a quarterfinal contest on Thursday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. inside the Wolstein Center. 

Cleveland State's quarterfinal opponent will be the highest-remaining seed following Tuesday's (March 1) first round games. 

The Vikings will be playing on their home court in #HLWBB tournament play for the third straight season, but this will be the first time since the 2010-11 campaign that Cleveland State will host a quarterfinal matchup. 

Cleveland State enters Thursday's quarterfinal game with a 19-7 overall record, including a 14-6 mark in Horizon League action. The Vikings have won four out of their last five games, and own an 11-4 record when playing inside the Wolstein Center this season. 

The winner of Thursday's quarterfinal contest will advance to the semifinals on Monday, March 7 in Indianapolis, Ind., while the 2022 Keeps Horizon League Tournament championship game is set for Tuesday, March 8.
