Cleveland State Women’s Basketball Set To Host RMU Sunday Afternoon

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's basketball team will wrap up its current four-game home stand on Sunday, February 13, hosting Robert Morris at 2:00 p.m. inside the Wolstein Center. The Vikings enter Sunday's game standing at 15-5 overall this year and 10-4 in Horizon League play, while the Colonials are 10-12 on the season and 8-9 against league opponents.

Last time out, the Vikings dropped a hard-fought contest against Youngstown State, falling to the Penguins 77-69 in overtime. Friday's game marked the first overtime game of the season for CSU, while it was the second overtime game in the last three contests for YSU.

Cleveland State's offense against YSU was led by Destiny Leo and Nadia Dumas, with Leo notching 18 points and Dumas adding 14. This marked the 14th time this year that Leo has finished with 15+ points, while it's the 13th double-digit performance for Dumas this season.

The Vikings enter Sunday's game sitting fifth in the #HLWBB standings, and are one of five teams to have double-digit league wins, while RMU is currently eighth with five games left to play.

Cleveland State currently leads the league in five statistical categories as a team, including scoring (71.6 ppg) and rebounding (41.3 rpg), while Leo leads the league in scoring individually (18.4 ppg) and Amele Ngwafang ranks seventh as CSU's top rebounder (6.9 rpg).

Last time out, Ngwafang finished with a team-high 12 rebounds against YSU, marking her third straight double-digit rebounding effort, as she also recorded 12 against Wright State and 10 against Northern Kentucky last weekend.

Sunday's game will be the 13th game inside the Wolstein Center this season, with the Vikings owning a 10-2 record when playing at home this year. Sunday's game will also be the fourth of six home games during the month of February for the Vikings, as Cleveland State will close out the regular season playing six of its last eight games at home.

Last time out, RMU picked up a 60-48 victory at Purdue Fort Wayne, and enters Sunday's game having won three out of its last five games. When the two teams met earlier this season, RMU earned a 63-55 victory in Moon Township, Pa.
