Cleveland State Women’s Basketball Falls At IUPUI, 82-64

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's basketball team wrapped up the month of January on Saturday afternoon, dropping an 82-67 contest at IUPUI. With the loss, the Vikings fall to 13-4 on the season and 8-3 in Horizon League play.

Game Stats
· Three Vikings finished in double-figures on the day, including Destiny Leo with 16, Isabella Geraci with 12 and Deja Williams with 12.
· Barbara Zieniewska and Amele Ngwafang both grabbed four rebounds on the game.
· Cleveland State finished with 13 steals on the game, including three from Isabelle Gradwell, Isabella Geraci and Brittni Moore.
· The Viking defense forced IUPUI into 23 turnovers on the game, turning these miscues into 24 points.

Game Notes
· Senior Isabelle Gradwell was playing in her 100th career game as a Viking on Saturday, as she has played in every game during her Cleveland State career.
· Saturday's game also marked the 100th game for head coach Chris Kielsmeier during his tenure at Cleveland State.
· With the 16 points against IUPUI, Destiny Leo has now tallied 15+ points in 14 games this year.
· Isabella Geraci notched her second double-digit scoring game of the season with 12 points against the Jaguars.
· Deja Williams tied her CSU career-high with 12 points on the game, marking her second 10+ point effort of the season.
· Cleveland State got 35 points from its bench against IUPUI, as nine of 10 players that saw action got in the scoring column.
