CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's basketball team hosted its lone exhibition contest of the 2021-22 campaign Wednesday, picking up a 73-47 victory over Ursuline.
Wednesday's exhibition marked the first game for the Vikings at the Wolstein Center with fans in the stands since the 2019-20 season, and is the first of 18 home contests for Cleveland State during the 2021-22 campaign.
The Vikings will officially kick off the 2021-22 season on Tuesday, November 9 when they host ETSU at 6:00 p.m. in the Wolstein Center.
Prior to Tuesday's game against ETSU the Vikings will unveil their WBI Championship Banner, honoring last season's championship squad that posted three games over three days to capture the program's first-ever postseason title.
The first 250 fans at Tuesday's game will receive mini replica WBI banner magnets.
