The Game
After taking a 29-28 lead into the halftime break, the Vikings were able to extend their lead to four points just a few possessions into the third quarter, as a Nadia Dumas and-one play put the Vikings up 35-31 with 7:47 left in the frame. The two teams then traded leads over the next few minutes, until a 10-2 Phoenix run over the final minutes of the frame gave Green Bay a 43-37 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Although Green Bay was able to extend its lead to double-digits throughout the start of the fourth quarter, the Vikings went on a mini 6-0 run to come within five points at 50-45 following a Barbara Zieniewska free throw.

The two teams then traded baskets over the next few plays, with Cleveland State closing the gap to four points at 54-50 on a Dumas layup.

This would be as close as the Vikings would get though, as Green Bay was able to once again extend its lead to double-digits and eventually came away with the 71-62 victory.
