The Game
After trailing by 11 points at the halftime break at the 33-22 mark, the Vikings were able to trim the lead back to single digits less than 10 seconds into the frame, as Isabella Geraci converted a jump shot to put the score at 33-24.

Although Wright State would regain a double-digit lead throughout much of the third quarter, the Vikings converted back-to-back shots late in the frame, closing the gap to 47-38 following an Aminata Ly layup and Destiny Leo three-pointer.

The two teams traded baskets to end the quarter then, as another Leo basket put the score at 49-40 entering the final 10 minutes of play.

Cleveland State carried this momentum into the opening minutes of the fourth quarter then, as the Vikings posted four straight points from Mariah White and Leo to pull within seven at 51-44 with 8:10 left on the clock. This would be as close as the Vikings would get though, as Wright State was able to regain a double-digit lead over the next few possessions, and pull away with the 64-54 victory.
