CLEVELAND, Ohio – After posting back-to-back wins against Oakland and Detroit Mercy last weekend, the Cleveland State women's basketball team has clinched a First Round home game in the upcoming Horizon League Basketball Tournament on Tuesday, March 3. 

General Admission $10 tickets are on sale now by calling the CSU Ticket Office at (216) 687-4848 or by visiting the CSU Ticket Website. 

Special pricing is also available for groups of 10 or more and Cleveland State faculty and staff (with a valid Viking ID). Both can purchase tickets at an $8 price point by calling the CSU Ticket Office directly. 

The Vikings will host one of four First Round games, with the winners advancing to the Quarterfinals on Thursday, March 5 – which will also be hosted at campus sites. The Semifinals and Championship game are set for Monday, March 9 and Tuesday, March 10, respectively, and will be played at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Ind.

The complete Horizon League Basketball Tournament bracket will be released Saturday evening (February 29), following the final weekend of the regular season slate. 

Entering the final week of regular season play, the Vikings stand at 19-8 overall this season and 9-7 in Horizon League play. This marks the third time over the last six years that the Vikings have reached the 19-win mark and the first time under head coach Chris Kielsmeier.

2019-20 CLEVELAND STATE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE

Earlier this season Cleveland State posted a program-best 11-game winstreak, which included a 10-1 start to the 2019-20 campaign, marking the best start in program history.
