Women’s Basketball Drops 74-54 Contest Against Green Bay

CLEVELAND, Ohio– The Cleveland State women's basketball team closed out the first half of Horizon League play Sunday afternoon, dropping a 74-54 contest against Green Bay. The Vikings finished the first part of #HLWBB play with a 15-5 overall record and a 5-4 mark against league opponents.

Game Stats
· Jade Ely finished with a team-high 15 points, while JaMiya Braxton added nine, and Savanna Crockett and Mariah Miller both chipped in eight.
· Mariah Miller led the Cleveland State rebounding efforts, grabbing eight boards on the game.
· As a team, the Vikings recorded 12 assists on 18 made field goals, including three from Mariah Miller and Taylah Levy.
· Savanna Crockett recorded two blocked shots on the game, and Nadia Dumas added one block.
· Cleveland State converted eight three-pointers against Green Bay, with three of them coming from JaMiya Braxton.

Game Notes
· With her eight points against Green Bay, Mariah Miller now has 990 career points, and is just 10 points shy of becoming the 30th Viking all-time to reach the 1,000-point plateau.
· After recording two blocked shots against the Phoenix, Savanna Crockett is now in sole possession of 10th place in the CSU Career Record Book with 66 career blocks.
· JaMiya Braxton has now recorded three or more three-pointers in five of the nine #HLWBB games so far this season.
· Jade Ely notched a season-high with her 15 points against the Phoenix, and has now posted double-digit points in four games so far this year.
· Cleveland State finished the first half of league play with a 5-4 #HLWBB record, and is tied for fourth in the league standings.
