Miller Tabbed #HLWBB Player Of The Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Following a career-high weekend, Cleveland State women's basketball junior Mariah Miller has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week. This marks the second straight week that the Vikings have earned #HLWBB player of the week honors, while it is the first weekly accolade for Miller.

Last week, Miller averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists against UIC and IUPUI. She tallied double-digit points in both games, giving her 10+ points in 21 of 22 games she has played in this season.

Against UIC, Miller tallied her sixth double-double of the season with a career-high 25 points and 12 rebounds, marking her fourth 20-point game of the year. She followed that up with a 12-point five-rebound effort at IUPUI, leading the Viking offense in both games.

Miller also added six assists, one blocked shot and one steal on the weekend.

For the year, Miller is one of just two Horizon League players to average 16.0+ points per game, ranking second in the #HLWBB standings with 16.0 ppg.

Miller and the Vikings will continue #HLWBB play with a pair of home games this weekend, hosting Milwaukee (Friday, February 15) and Green Bay (Sunday, February 17).
