Vikings Fall To Northern Kentucky, 83-51

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's basketball team returned to the Wolstein Center to begin a four-game homestand Thursday evening, falling to Northern Kentucky, 83-51. The Vikings are now 4-14 overall this season and 1-7 in Horizon League play.

Game Stats
· Two Vikings finished the game in double-figures – Ashanti Abshaw with 13 points and Nicolete Newman with 10 points.
· Olivia Voskuhl added seven points, while Khayla Livingston added six points.
· Ashanti Abshaw grabbed a team-high eight rebounds, while Sierra Davidson notched five boards.
· Brooke Smith posted a team-best four assists, while Khayla Livingston added three.
· Ashanti Abshaw and Adesuwa Aideyman each tallied two steals.

Game Notes
· Nicolete Newman posted double-digit points for the second time this season, just one point shy of her career-high of 11 points that she recorded against Youngstown State.
· Sierra Davidson's five rebounds marked a career-high for the freshman.
· Ashanti Abshaw has now recorded double-digit points in 17 of Cleveland State's 18 games this season.
· Cleveland State notched 12 assists on its 17 made field goals – CSU's highest assist total since the Vikings posted 13 against Youngstown State.
