2010-11 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Dominant in the open circuit... He won a team-high 21 times and was tied for third on the team with three pins...had two major decisions... had a fourth place finish at the Simonson Open, a fifth place result at the Purple Raider Open and a fifth place finish at the Harris Open...one of two Vikings to win by technical fall.
HIGH SCHOOL
Finished fifth in the state in 2008 and 2010 and placed sixth in 2009...three-time sectional champion...member of Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy team that finished as the state runner-up in 2010, third in the state in 2008 and 2009, and fourth in Ohio in 2007...owns a career record of 136-34.

Born February 25, 1992 in Macedonia, Ohio...son of Brad and Beth Sommers...has one sister, Brittany...member of the Honors Society...volunteered with the Diakonos Service Group and at Villa Angela-St. Joseph Nursing Home...physical therapy major.
