"Josh was a solid performer at both 157 and 165 last season. He stepped in and proved that he can wrestle with the best of them. He struggles to stay healthy but compensates with toughness. He is a very stubborn and tough competitor."

2004-05 - Sophomore Season

Went 12-9 with a major decision at 157 pounds...took second at the Slippery Rock Open, going 4-1...finished fourth with a 5-2 record at the Kent State Open.

2003-04 - Redshirt Season

Redshirted to maintain three years of eligibility.

2002-03 - Freshman Season

Finished second in the Slippery Rock Open on 11/23, falling to Brian Consolvo of James Madison in a tiebreaker...compiled a 7-11 record...wrestled for the Vikings at 157 in the EWL Championships, but did not win a match.

High School

Collected a sectional and district championship on his way to finishing fifth at the state meet as a senior...a team captain, he finished with a 40-5 mark in leading team to a league championship and 11-0 record...was named a Plain Dealer wrestling all-star...earned three letters in wrestling...also earned three letters in football, leading team to a second-place league finish.
