CLEVELAND, Ohio – After winning two MAC matches over the weekend, sophomore Nick Molchak has been named East Division MAC Wrestler of the Week. This is the third weekly honor and the second straight for the Vikings. In addition, this is the first of Molchak's career.

The Solon, Ohio, native went 2-0, improving to 6-2 overall at 133-pounds after bumping up from his original weight of 125 at the start of the year. Molchak started the weekend with a fall in 2:02 against No. 32 Gable Strickland of Lock Haven. He followed that up with a 9-0 major decision against Major Lewis Bloomsburg.

Molchak and the Vikings have two dual matches remaining this week, starting with Thursday at Kent State at 7 p.m. and then hosting Rider on Friday at 2 p.m.
