Senior Sendoff: Cleveland State Wrestling Defeats Bloomsburg on Senior Day

Cleveland, Ohio -The Cleveland State Wrestling team won eight of ten matches on Saturday in downing Bloomsburg 30-9. Seven seniors were honored prior to the dual meet for their contributions to the program through the years.

The Vikings had three bonus point victories on the day. Ben Aranda started things off at 125 with a 12-3 major decision victory over Bronson Garber of Bloomsburg. Aranda recorded four takedowns as well as a near-fall turn near the end of the third period to secure the major.

Marcus Robinson recorded a dominant 17-0 tech fall over John Reho. Robinson recorded a takedown just 15 seconds into the first period, and used four near-fall turns to rack up the tech fall right as the first period clock expired.

Anthony Perrine recorded the third bonus point win, a forfeit victory at 197 which clinched the dual for Cleveland State.

The Vikings will next hit the road for a tri-meet with Rider and Drexel next Saturday, February 18th.
