Cleveland State Wrestling Falls in Opener to No. 18 Pitt

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State dropped their first dual match of the season to No. 18 Pitt 36-0 on Friday evening inside Woodling Gymnasium.

The Vikings dropped six of the ten matches on the evening by major decisions with the closest match coming at 184-pounds with No. 33 DeAndre Nassar dropping a narrow 3-2 match to No. 24 Reece Heller.

Cleveland State will head to the Bob Del Rosa Ohio Intercollegiate Open on Sunday, November 13 inside the Veale Athletic Center on the campus of Case Western Reserve University.
