Redshirted during his initial season at Cleveland State.

Won five matches at 125 pounds while competing as an unattached collegian at West Virginia University in 2019-20 season … Was a Division I state placer at 132 pounds for Green High School at the 2019 OHSAA Tournament … Also qualified for the DI state tournament as a junior … Was a two-time Massillon Perry Sectional champion … Combined for 70 wins over his final two scholastic seasons.
