2017-18 – REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON
Wrestled six duals at 125 pounds … Won five matches overall … Defeated his Ohio State opponent, 7-3, in dual action in his first-ever collegiate dual event, the Thanksgiving Throwdown … Pinned a Big Ten opponent in the Cleveland State Open … Also won a match at the JCU Open.

2016-17 – FRESHMAN SEASON
Went 13-12 as an unattached collegian across two weight classes … Competed at 125 pounds for the majority of season before moving up to 133 for final event of year … Posted eight bonus-point wins, including four pins … Won the JCU Open at 133 pounds with a pin and two technical falls … Won three matches to place at both Purple Raider Open (4th) and Findlay Open (6th) … Also placed at Ohio Intercollegiate Open, where he won his first collegiate match in his second-ever bout via a pin.

Was a state placer twice … Also won two district championships … Selected Academic All-Ohio three times … Won the Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award … Graduated with honors.
