CLEVELAND - The Horizon League released its All-League Men's Tennis teams Friday afternoon and Cleveland State was represented by freshman Jay Tee (Davenport, Iowa/Davenport Central) and sophomore Eric Winn (Austin, Texas/Westlake).
Tee became the first Viking to earn Newcomer of the Year honors in addition to being named to the second team. He posted a 11-16 mark at No. 2 and No. 3 singles while going 3-2 in league play. In addition, Tee went 11-14 at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
Playing No. 1 singles most of the year, Winn recorded a 12-14 record in addition to going 11-14 at No. 1 doubles to earn the second team nod.
Cleveland State faces Wright State tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. EDT in the opening round of the Horizon League Championship at North Central H.S. in Indianapolis.
