Contact: Jessica GerichCLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State men's tennis team won every match of the day to defeat Youngstown State, 7-0, in the final home match of the season. The victory places the Vikings at 14-5 overall and 3-1 in Horizon League action.

Senior Brad Groleski won his final home match as a Viking, winning 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. Sophomore Phil Orno and freshman Robert Fox continued their consecutive singles match win streaks, winning at Nos. 1 and 5 singles, respectively. Orno has now won 15 consecutive matches while Fox has won 12 straight. Sophomore Ryan Hamning won his No. 2 singles match, defeating Ryan Trapp 6-3. 6-3. Freshman Chris Klepatz won 6-2, 6-1 over Chris Leson at No. 4 singles, while junior Rob West won his No. 6 singles match by default.

"This was a big conference win for us, with a quick doubles point and big wins coming from Phil and Brad," head coach Brian Etzkin said. "Brad wanted to go out with a nice win in his final home match and did so in front of a great crowd. We came home with a nice win, but we will still work hard this week to prepare for Valparaiso and UIC."

The Vikings travel to Valparaiso, Ind. on Saturday, April 19 for a match against the Crusaders. The match is set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
