Men's Tennis Tops Knox College, 7-0

Altamonte Springs, Fla. - The Vikings closed out their spring training trip in dominant style on Wednesday (March 16), claiming a 7-0 victory over Knox College in Altamonte Springs, Fla.

With the win, the Vikings improve to 8-8 on the season.

Senior Eric Winn scored a perfect 6-0, 6-0 win over Jon Betts at No. 1 singles, while junior Jay Tee cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles.

"I think this was a match in which we came out expecting to do well, and we definitely did that," head coach Brian Etzkin said. "It was good to see Alex [Livingstone] come up big for us in No. 3 doubles as well."

The Vikings head to Youngstown State on March 26 for a 6:00 p.m. match with the Penguins.
