TEMPE, Ariz. – For the second straight season the Cleveland State men's tennis team earned a spot in the year-end ITA Regional Rankings, finishing the year ranked 10th in the Midwest Region.
Cleveland State is one of four mid-major teams to earn a spot in the year-end Midwest Regional top-10, and one of two Horizon League teams to be ranked.

Cleveland State finished the 2023-24 campaign with a program-record 21 wins and captured the team's ninth Horizon League Tournament Championship.
"It's one of our goals every year to be ranked regionally, and this year we were able to accomplish that, and be ranked with some great competition," head coach Brian Etzkin said. "The team had a great season, and they worked really hard throughout the year to accomplish their goals, and I'm happy for them to be recognized."
The Vikings, who also captured the Horizon League North Division Regular Season title, posted the third 20-win season in program history. Eleven of Cleveland State's 21 wins came at home, as the Vikings went 11-1 at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion to record the team's third double-digit home win season.
Cleveland State's appearance in the 2023-24 year-end regional rankings marks the sixth time in program history that the Vikings have earned a top-10 finish, also earning a spot on the list in 2008-09, 2009-10, 2017-18, 2018-19, and 2022-23.
