INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the sixth time this season Cleveland State men's tennis freshman Lincoln Battle has been named the Horizon League Singles Player of the Week. 

Last time out, Battle helped the Vikings remain perfect in Horizon League play, picking up a 4-3 win at Northern Kentucky and a 6-1 win at IUPUI. 

Playing at the top of the singles lineup, Battle went 2-0 on the weekend, improving to 4-0 against league opponents this season. He earned a 6-4, 6-2 win at Northern Kentucky and posted a come-from-behind 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 win at IUPUI. 

With the wins, Battle is now 15-7 overall this season and 13-5 this spring playing the majority of his matches at No. 1 singles.
