INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the second straight week the Cleveland State men's tennis team has swept the Horizon League Weekly awards, as Mikael Erler was named the Singles Player of the Week and JuandeDios Abboud and Hugo Chatras were named the Doubles Team of the Week.

This marks the third weekly honor for Erler this year, while it marks the first doubles accolade for Abboud and Chatras.

Last time out, this trio led the Vikings to a pair of wins against Toledo (4-3) and Holy Cross (6-1), extending Cleveland State's current win streak to five straight matches.

Playing at No. 2 singles, Erler picked up back-to-back wins against Toledo and Holy Cross, improving to a team-best 8-4 in dual match play and extending his singles win streak to six matches.

Erler notched a 5-7, 6-3, 6-0 victory against the Rockets, and followed that up with a 6-1, 6-1 win against Holy Cross. His win against Toledo marked the clinching point in the tight 4-3 match.

In doubles action, Abboud and Chatras teamed up for the Toledo match, earning a 6-4 victory at No. 2 doubles. The duo was playing together for the first time this spring, while they helped the Vikings pick up the crucial doubles point against the Rockets.
