Cleveland State Men’s Tennis Opens Home Slate Against Dayton & Duquesne

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team will play at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion for the first time during the 2022 spring campaign this weekend, hosting Dayton on Friday, February 18 and Duquesne on Monday, February 21.

This weekend's matches will mark the first matches inside the MMTP for the Vikings this season, while they will also mark the first of 10 scheduled home matches for Cleveland State this spring.

To begin the spring season, the Vikings played six straight matches on the road, including a pair of matches at Big Ten opponents Michigan State and Penn State.

So far this spring, Maxime Mareschal-Hay has notched a team-high three singles wins playing at the top of the lineup, while Mikael Erler has picked up two wins playing at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.

Overall this year, Mareschal-Hay and Kade Mindry are tied with a team-best 12-9 singles record.
