Vikings Fall At Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Cleveland State men's tennis team opened up the month of March on the road Friday afternoon, dropping a 7-0 match at Western Michigan.

Friday's contest snapped a three-match winstreak for the Vikings, marking their first loss since January 31.

In defeat, Cleveland State's JuandeDios Abboud was able to force his match to three sets, dropping a 7-5, 4-6, 1-0(5) decision at No. 6 singles.

The Vikings will return to action next week, hosting St. Bonaventure in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 13. The matches against St. Bonaventure will mark just the third and fourth home matches for the Vikings this season, and the first time that they will be playing in the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion since January 31.
