VanMeter & Radosevic Named All-League Second Team

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A pair of Cleveland State men's tennis players were honored with postseason accolades from the Horizon League this year, as Joe VanMeter and Mirko Radosevic were both named to the All-League Second Team.

The Vikings have now had at least two representatives on all-league teams every year under head coach Brian Etzkin.

This is the first postseason honor for Radosevic and the second for VanMeter – making him one of 10 Vikings to earn Horizon League accolades multiple times during Etzkin's tenure.

Radosevic and VanMeter have split time throughout the top of the singles lineup for the Vikings this season, combining for 22 of Cleveland State's 35 wins at the top three spots. This spring, VanMeter owns a 12-11 singles mark, while Radosevic stands at 10-14. Against Horizon League opponents, both finished the regular season with a 2-4 mark.

For the season, Radosevic is just two wins shy of notching his first 20-win season, as he enters Horizon League Tournament play with an 18-16 overall record this year.

Earlier this season VanMeter became the seventh Viking all-time to record 7- career singles wins, and enters this weekend's action ranked sixth on the CSU Singles Wins list with 73 career victories.

VanMeter and Radosevic will lead the Vikings at the Horizon League Tournament this weekend, as Cleveland State will open play with a first round contest against Youngstown State on Friday, April 29.
