CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State men's tennis team will travel to Ohio State for the first round of the NCAA Tournament - facing the Buckeyes on Friday, May 10. This is CSU's fifth trip to the NCAA Tournament in the past six seasons, earning the Horizon League's automatic bid after clinching the 2013 Horizon League Tournament title.

The Vikings enter the tournament with a 12-11 record and have won six straight matches heading into their first round contest. The Buckeyes received the No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament, owning a 31-2 record and earning their spot in the tournament field after claiming the Big Ten Tournament title.

Cleveland State has faced the Buckeyes once before in NCAA Tournament action, falling to Ohio State in the first round of the 2008 tournament. The two teams also met earlier this season, with OSU claiming a 4-0 victory.

First and second round competition will take place May 10-12 and features four teams playing in a single-elimination format. The winner of each site advances to the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex/Atkins Tennis Center in Urbana, Ill. where the 16 teams will compete for the national championship May 17-21.
