Cleveland State University swimming & diving has signed Nate Steiner from Banks, Oregon. Steiner swam at Glencoe High School and for Hillsboro Heat Swim Team.
Steiner was an Oregon State Champion in the 200 Medley Relay and 100 Butterfly, while also setting an OSAA State Record in the 200 Medley Relay. In addition, Steiner was a two-time Pacific Conference Male Athlete of the Year (2022 & 2023) and three-time Glencoe High School Boys Swimming MVP (2021, 2022 & 2023).
"I chose Cleveland State because it has an urban campus with an accelerated program in Communications Management, and a men's swim & dive team that is chasing a Horizon League Championship!"
With his club team, Steiner was a Summer Jr. Nationals qualifier and a Futures finalist.
Steiner is the son of Steve and Deanna Steiner and will be majoring in communications management.
