Cleveland State Men's Swimming & Diving in Third After Day One of #HLSD Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cleveland State is third with 66 points after the first day of the Horizon League Championships.

The Vikings started the championship by placing third in the 200-yard medley relay as Dogukan Tombul, Tyler Schultze, Kenny Thomas, and Josh Merchbaker clocked a 1:28.91.

Cleveland State capped off the night with a program record and runner-up finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay as Connor Green, Daniel Lyngaas, Jackson Nester, and Paddy Johnston touched in 6:30.06.

The Vikings return to the pool tomorrow for the second day of the championships and the first full day of competition.
