CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State University swimming & diving coach Hannah Burandt announced the eighth addition for the class of 2023, Tanner Beck.

Beck is from Las Vegas, Nevada, and swam at Advanced Technologies Academy. Beck was twice named MVP and holds multiple team records.

"I chose Cleveland State because the academics were exactly what I was looking for and the team felt like a family when I met them."

Outside the pool, he received a Career Readiness Seal and Criminal Justice Seal.

Beck swam for Sandpipers of Nevada and is the son of Yvette and Robert Beck. He plans to major in criminal justice in the fall.
