CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State University swimming & diving coach Hannah Burandt announced the sixth addition for the class of 2023, Tyler Davidson.

Davidson is from Mount Vernon, Ohio, and swam at Mount Vernon High School. Davidson was the first and only diver to compete in Districts and States in school history. In addition, he was voted the most athletic in his class.

"I chose Cleveland State because I wanted to further my education in music at a University that excels in it. Also, the chance to dive with an amazing team."

Outside the pool, he was on the merit roll along with being a Scholar-Athlete.

Davidson plans to major in music composition and is the son of Tina May.
