COLUMBUS, Ohio – Cleveland State wrapped up the three-day Ohio State Winter Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The meet served as the final event of the year for Jacob Cole, Austin Harper, and Andrew Arslanian.

Head Coach Hannah Burandt said, "The Ohio State Winter Invitational was an amazing way for two of our seniors, Cole and Harper, along with freshman Arslanian to wrap up their individual seasons. On Saturday we had the loudest cheering section as most of our team drove down to support them! We hit the road tomorrow morning as a #OneTeamOneFamily to battle for the Horizon League Championship meet on the men's side and third place on the women's side. We have big goals, why not now? Why not us?

The Vikings placed seventh and ninth in the 200-yard IM on night one with Cole (1:53.76) and Harper (1:58.37). Arslanian capped off the evening with a sixth-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle, clocking a 21.74.

On day two, Arslanian finished as the runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 51.31. Cole placed sixth in the 400-yard IM after clocking a 4:04.10.

Sunday saw Cleveland State place in all three events swam. Arslanian came in fourth of 100-yard freestyle, clocking a 47.77. In the 200-yard breaststroke, Cole came in fourth after swimming a 2:11.54. Harper concluded the meet with a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, clocking a 1:55.90.

The Vikings will now turn their attention to the Horizon League Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 16 through February 19.
