Setting the Scene
Cleveland State will conclude the first half of their season with the Magnus Cup on Thursday through Saturday. The meet will feature prelims at 9 a.m. and finals at 5 p.m. all three days. Diving events will take place on Thursday and Friday at 1 p.m.

Last Magnus Cup
The Magnus Cup returns in 2021 after being canceled in 2020 due to COVID. The Cleveland State men's team won their sixth consecutive Magnus Cup in 2019, while the women took third, marking their highest finish since 2013.

The Last Time Out
The Vikings men defeated both Oberlin (199-34) and Findlay (136-95) while the women split, defeating Oberlin (169-67) and falling to Findlay (138-100) on Friday, Nov. 5.

• 200-Backstroke: Timothy Kubacki (1:48.75)

Olympic Trials
Cleveland State had a pair of athletes swim in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Omaha, Nebraska this summer. Griffin Manning swam the 100 LC meter breaststroke, while Jackson Nester took part in the 200 LC meter backstroke.

Tickets
Each session will be ticketed individually. Adults are $8/session and youth/senior is $6. All-session passes can be bought for $40/adult and $30/youth/senior. You can buy tickets online by clicking here, calling the ticket office (216) 687-4848, or at the door.

Donation Drive
Our team has partnered with Socks and Clothes for Kids of Cleveland. Donations allow kids to be better prepared for school and everything else that life can bring. New clothing or school supplies can aid those that don't have the resources to get them. The most requested donation items are school supplies and clothing like socks and underwear. Everything must be new, and they are in need of more adult sizes. Our drive will be collecting item donations and financial donations, so there is no need to go shopping! For more information about the organization go to sc4k.org. Donations will be accepted throughout the entirety of Magnus. The donation bins will be set up by the entrance of the natatorium.

The Vikings return to the pool for a two-day dual at UIC along with IUPUI on Friday, Jan. 7, and Saturday, Jan. 8.
