Cleveland State Men's Swimming & Diving Concludes Meet at Notre Dame

South Bend, Ind. – The Cleveland State men concluded the two-day dual meet at the University of Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • For the second straight day, Cleveland State opened the meet with a fourth-place finish in a relay. The team of Paddy Johnston, Jack Krusinski, Bob Fick, and Kenny Thomas finished the 200-yard medley in 1:30.82.
  • Timothy Kubacki placed fifth in the 200-yard freestyle, clocking a time of 1:41.67.
  • Krusinski turned in a pair of fourth-place finishes on the day, 200-yard IM (1:52.99) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:02.92).
  • Fick took third in the 200-yard butterfly, finishing in 1:49.30.
  • Johnston came in fourth place during the 100-yard backstroke, clocking a 49.93.
  • Jackson Nester swam the 1000-yard freestyle, placing third with a time of 9:41.05.
  • Krusinski, Green, Eberhardt, and Johnston capped off the meet with a fifth-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay, clocking a 3:07.53.
