Opening Whistle
Cleveland State will be seeking a spot in the 2023 #HLMSOC tournament tomorrow as they conclude the regular season at Robert Morris. The Green and White are unbeaten in their last six Horizon League contests, with their last loss coming against Detroit on Sept. 16.

A Result Tomorrow Would…
A win guarantees the Green and White a spot in the postseason tournament along with a chance to defend their crown. If the Vikings tie, help would be needed below them to secure a spot. Finally, a loss would eliminate them from the tournament.

Last Time Out
The Vikings played to their third straight draw in league play, tying Wright State 1-1 on Senior Night. Following a scoreless first half, Wright State opened the scoring in the 58th minute off a misplay in the back. However, the Vikings tied the game just a minute later on a Marko Rimac goal off a through ball from Albert Portas.

About the Colonials
Robert Morris has lost three consecutive games and stands at 4-6-5 overall and 2-4-2 in the league. The Colonials sit two points back of the Vikings for the final tournament spot. In their last outing at Detroit, RMU fell by a score of 3-1. Gabe Norris and Kai McLoughlin lead the offense with four goals. Kieran Gorgenyi has started 13 games in goal, posting 42 saves and one shutout.

Series History
This will be the eleventh meeting of all time, with the Vikings holding an 8-2 advantage in the series. Cleveland State has won six straight games, including the last four by shutout. Also in that span, the Green and White are outscoring the Colonials 15-3.

Current #HLMSOC Standings
Entering the final game of the season all ten teams are still alive for a spot in the postseason tournament. Oakland sits atop the standings with 15 points. A three-way tie exists in the second spot with Green Bay, IUPUI, and Detroit all sitting on 14 points. Purdue Fort Wayne is fifth with 11 points and Cleveland State is sixth with ten points. Northern Kentucky is seventh with nine points, and Robert Morris, Milwaukee, and Wright State have eight points.
