Cleveland State travels to the University of Michigan for its final non-conference game of the season tomorrow at 7 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Vikings played to their second straight draw in Horizon League play as the game at Purdue Fort Wayne ended 2-2. Following a missed penalty kick by the Vikings in the seventh minute, the Mastodons converted one of their own in the 14th minute to lead 1-0. Pablo Kawecki equalized in the 28th minute and put the Green and White ahead in the 40th minute. PFW retied the game in the 67th minute.

Current #HLMSOC Standings
With two games left in the #HLMSOC season, Oakland leads the way with 15 points, and IUPUI is second with 13 points. Third place consists of three teams at 11 points, including Green Bay, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Detroit. The Vikings are in the last spot of the tournament with nine points.

About the Wolverines
Michigan carries a 2-5-7 overall record and has lost their previous two games. The Wolverines have not scored in their previous games and have just 13 goals on the year. Bryce Blevins and Alex Waggoner have each scored three goals on the year. Blevins is tied with Moshtaba Al-Hasnawi for the team lead in assists with two. Isaiah Goldson has started nine of the ten games this season in goal, accumulating 35 saves and three shutouts.

Series History
This will be the seventh meeting between these two teams with each winning three times. The last meeting came in 2017 with Michigan coming out on top, 3-1.

Preseason Poll
Cleveland State was picked to finish first in the Horizon League preseason poll, as voted on by the league's ten coaches. The Vikings finished with nine of the ten first-place votes for 99 total points. IUPUI was selected second with the final first-place vote for 80 points, and Oakland was third with 71 points.

The Green and White return home on Saturday for Senior Night against Wright State at 7 p.m. The Vikings will be honoring its nine seniors prior to kickoff.
