INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Cleveland State senior goalkeeper Omeed Naeemy was named the Horizon League Under Armour Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Vikings to a 1-0 shutout of IUPUI on Saturday. This marks the first honor of the season and the fifth of his career.

Naeemy made four saves en route to his first shutout of the year and the 19th of his career. He has started five games this season and has recorded 17 saves.

The Vikings are back home tomorrow at 7 p.m. against No. 5 Akron and then face Milwaukee at home on Saturday with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
