INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cleveland State senior Pablo Kawecki has been named the Horizon League Under Armour Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Green and White to their first league win of the year. This marks the first weekly honor of the season and the second for his career.

In the two games this past week, Kawecki recorded two goals and an assist for five points. He started the week with a penalty kick goal against Dayton and followed it up with the game-winner in the 89th minute versus Northern Kentucky at home.

Kawecki has now tallied a goal in four straight games and leads the Vikings with five on the year. He is also tops on the team in points with 12.

Kawecki and the Vikings return to the field on Saturday, Oct. 7 at IUPUI with a 3 p.m. start time.
