KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Cleveland State men's soccer senior Bojan Kolevski has been named to the 2023 Hermann Trophy Watch List, announced by the United Soccer Coaches on Thursday. Kolevski is one of 37 on the list and the lone Horizon League player named. He is also the first player in program history to be recognized on this list.
The Hermann Trophy is presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club and is the nation's highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by the voting of Division I coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches.
Fifteen men's players and 15 women's players will become Hermann Trophy semifinalists following the completion of Division I All-America voting at the end of the fall season. On December 6th, the three women's finalists will be announced and on December 13th, the men's three finalists will be released.
The 2023 winner is revealed on Jan. 5th, 2024, at a ceremony at the historic Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis, Mo.
Kolevski, a Skopje, North Macedonia, native is coming off a season in which he was named the Horizon League Player and Offensive Player of the Year. This was the second straight season that Kolevski was named the best offensive player in the league.
The three-time All-League honoree has totaled 26 goals and 10 assists for 62 points in his time with the Green and White.
