Opening Whistle
The top-seeded and regular season champions, Cleveland State Vikings will face third-seeded IUPUI for the Horizon League Championship tomorrow at 1 p.m. on Krenzler Field.
A Win Would…
Give Cleveland State their second Horizon League Tournament Championship in program history with their last coming in 2012 when they defeated Loyola, 2-0.
Setting the Championship Match
The Vikings advanced to the championship with a 4-2 victory over Oakland as the Green and White scored three unanswered goals in the second half to overcome a 2-1 deficit at halftime. Bojan Kolevski tallied two goals while Albert Portas and Pablo Kawecki each had one. Hector Gomez assisted on both of Kolevski's tallies. The Jaguars moved into the final game after shutting out second-seeded Wright State 3-0. IUPUI took a 1-0 lead into the break before adding two more goals in the second half.
This Season's Meeting
Cleveland State blanked IUPUI on the road 2-0 behind a pair of first-half goals from Bojan Kolevski and Albert Portas. Omeed Naeemy finished with a season-best eight saves. The Jaguars outshot the Green and White 21-12 but only held a slim 8-7 shots on goal margin.
Horizon League Honors
Cleveland State received three Horizon League special awards as Bojan Kolevski was named Player of the Year along with Offensive Player of the Year, and Sinisa Ubiparipovic earned Coach of the Year honors. Pablo Kawecki, Bojan Kolevski, and Jannis Schmidt received First Team honors and Hector Gomez along with Uros Jevtic received Second Team recognition.

Tickets for the 2022 Horizon League championship game are on sale now. Adult tickets are $10.00 and children 12 & under are $8.00. Gates to Krenzler Field will open at 12 p.m.

NCAA Tournament Information
The 2022 DI men's soccer selection show is Monday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. ET on NCAA.com. The NCAA will have the official bracket for the 2022 DI men's soccer championship shortly after. This will be the sport's 62nd year of crowning an NCAA champion.
The 2022 championship field will consist of 48 teams with the tournament running from Nov. 17 through Dec. 12. The College Cup, consisting of the national semifinals and finals will be held in Cary, North Carolina.
