Cleveland State Men's Soccer Battles to 1-1 Draw at Loyola

CHICAGO, Ill. – Cleveland State (9-2-3) returned to non-league play with a 1-1 draw at Loyola (6-2-5) on Wednesday evening.

THE GAME
The Vikings struck first in the 29th minute as Bojan Kolevski finished off a pass from Jannis Schmidt for the 1-0 advantage.

Loyola dominated the shot category in the first half with an 11-3 edge but had just a 3-2 advantage in shots on goal.

The Ramblers drew even in the 81st minute as Marc Torrellas headed in a free kick by Billy Hency.

In the game, LU outshot Cleveland State 23-8 and 7-3 in shots on goal.

Kolevski accounted for half of the Green and White shots while Pablo Kawecki fired off a pair. Max Kasputis made six saves on the evening.
