Opening Whistle
The second-seeded Vikings will face third-seeded Milwaukee in the Horizon League Semifinals tomorrow at 4 p.m. The tournament is being hosted by Regular Season Champions, Oakland University.

A Win Would…
Put Cleveland State in the Horizon League Championship game with their last appearance coming in 2012 when they defeated Loyola, 2-0.

Setting the Bracket
Oakland and UIC will battle at 1 p.m. in the other semifinal matchup with the championship game set for Saturday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m.

This Season's Meeting
The Vikings defeated the Panthers 3-1 in their regular-season meeting on Sept. 25 in Milwaukee. After the opening half went scoreless, Pablo Kawecki and Albert Portas scored in the 51st and 62nd minutes. Milwaukee got on the board in the 65th minute, but Jannis Schmidt tallied the final goal in the 87th minute. Omeed Naeemy made four saves in the contest.

Panther Pointers
Milwaukee advanced to the semifinals with a 1-0 victory over Robert Morris in the quarterfinals on Sunday. Gratton Paolo scored the game-winner in the 85th minute on a header off assists from Adi Vaknin and Logan Farrington. Gijs Van Schouten made four saves to earn the shutout. Farrington leads the offense with eight goals and seven points on the year.

Horizon League Honors
Cleveland State brought in three Horizon League special awards as Jannis Schmidt was named Player of the Year, Bojan Kolevski was the Offensive Player of the Year, and Thomas M'Barek was the Defensive Player of the Year. Those three players were also named All-League First Team and Pablo Kawecki earned a spot on the Second Team.

The Vikings have been off since Saturday, Oct. 30 when they fell to Wright State in their season finale, 4-3.
